XK8 Universal Joint Lubrication
The universal joint on the XK8 has been overlooked when service has been performed for many years. I say overlooked because when the car is serviced they often fail to lubricate the universal joints resulting in premature failure. It is a simple process that can be performed because all I have seen have a grease fitting installed, just a matter of doing it. In order to do this you will need to be under the car and the wheel free to rotate. The rotation is necessary to bring the nipple around for access. All are accessible!
